Eva is an incredibly talented girl. She sings, draws, recites poetry with great expressiveness and emotion, and studies diligently and well at school. She seizes every opportunity to live a full life and develop herself, despite the daily pain and strict management of her illness.
She is now 13 years old, 11 of which she has been living with a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes (insulin-dependent). The illness came when Eva was just 2 years old. Imagine a childhood measured not in toys, but in thousands of injections. That is Eva's life.
Now, in adolescence, managing diabetes has become many times harder. Due to hormonal changes, her blood sugar shifts critically, posing a threat to her health every minute. For Eva to be able to safely attend classes, perform, and pursue her dreams, she needs continuous glucose monitoring sensors and special consumables.
After 11 years of unrelenting struggle, the family's financial resources are completely exhausted. Her parents are no longer able to cover this vital provision on their own. That is why they are reaching out to all caring people with a request for help. Any support you offer is a chance for stability, safety, and a life without complications for Eva thanks to sensors. Please do not stand aside – give this family hope and the possibility of living without the constant feeling of anxiety and danger.
