Scream for help

For more than a year little Mariana was treated for an incorrect diagnosis. The doctors suspected spasm of the neck muscles as a result of a cold but it turned out that it was caused by a brain tumor. In April Mariana had a surgery at the Institute of Neurosurgery. It seemed that everything was fine but four days later the girl fell into a coma. She received a lot of procedures and her condition gradually began to improve. There were first reactions, there was hope. But her parents have no more money to treat their daughter.

When Mariana was nine months old, she had convulsions. The doctors explained that it was caused by fever. After that, the girl’s head tilted to the left side. The parents were recommended to have a consultation with a neurologist, and then a cycle of massages. The girl received physiotherapy for a year but without any result. Only then Mariana has prescribed an MRI screening test that detected a tumor. After surgery, the child is still in intensive care and her life depends on drugs that her family cannot afford.
