Tiny Heart, Big Fight

St. Nicholas Hospital is the only medical facility in Western Ukraine where children with heart disease and rhythm disorders can receive specialised care. The Holter daily ECG recorder is the main diagnostic equipment for detecting rhythm disorders in children that are difficult to diagnose during a standard examination. This diagnostic method allows children to record their heart function for 1-48 hours at home in familiar conditions to establish a diagnosis, monitor the effectiveness of prescribed treatment, and evaluate the performance of a pacemaker.
 Fundraising for the Tiny Heart, Big Fight project began on 03.03.2025 on the dobro.ua platform of the UBB Charitable Foundation in the amount of UAH 158,090.00. During the fundraising, the cost of the equipment increased and the project amount was increased to UAH 158,379.57 (One Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-Nine Hryvnias and 57 Kopecks).
The payment for the purchase of this equipment was processed on 21 March 2025 in the amount of UAH 158,379.57 (One hundred fifty-eight thousand three hundred seventy-nine hryvnias and 57 kopecks).

As of 24.03.2025, the equipment was transferred to the Municipal Non-Commercial Enterprise ‘1st Territorial Medical Association of Lviv’.
