Myroslava's fragile hope

Life of 8-year-old Myroslava looks like a fragile hope for recovery. After unsuccessful kidney transplantation in May last year, the girl's life is inextricably linked to the apparatus "artificial kidney". Once again she should undergo medical examination, search of donor, surgery. Now Myroslava needs our help. We collect funds for consumables for hemodialysis which are needed for the next few months.

Myroslava is a very active child. She likes helping her mom in the kitchen especially inventing new recipes of cakes and salads. She sings very well, likes dancing and playing with her friends. But due to her disease, high risk of injury and high blood pressure Myroslava should avoid these potentially harmful activities.

Also, the girl must adhere to a strict diet, because some products that are considered useful may pose a mortal danger for Miroslava. For example, nuts and bananas can cause a cardiac arrest because of the high content of potassium.

Drinking of water is also a big problem for Myroslava, as she lives without kidneys. Every extra gram of liquid in her body disrupts the heart of a child.

The girl cannot go to school and spend enough time with her family and friends because she undergoes different treatment procedures in the hospital. Currently, Myrosya undergoes hemodialysis (artificial kidney) three times per week and takes medications to lower blood pressure, iron supplements, sorbents, calcium. Hemodialysis is a very costly procedure which hits the financial position of the family. Nevertheless, the girl's family tries to collect money for the future surgery.

The biggest dream of Myroslava is to have new kidney as soon as possible and live a full life. We can help Myroslava's family not to lose hope for girl recovery!
