Little Sofiika’s world is a place where every movement is worth more than gold. While her peers confidently conquer playgrounds, this girl fights a daily, silent war for the right to simply hold her back straight, to sit, and to be a part of this world. Sofiika’s journey began with traumatic birth complications that left a heavy mark: cerebral palsy (CP), a congenital brain anomaly, and tetraparesis. But the most painful part is that her inability to walk has caused her body to weaken from the inside – doctors diagnosed her with osteoporosis as far back as 2019. Imagine the immense strength of spirit this child must have to fight for years for every single step when her own bones are so fragile.

Despite all the bleak forecasts, Sofiika is a true fighter. Behind her lie exhaustive rehabilitation courses at the Kozyavkin Clinic. And these efforts have not been in vain! Today, the girl sits confidently, her coordination is improving, her muscles are beginning to "obey", and her legs, which used to be cold, are finally becoming warm. These are signs that life is breaking through the illness, proving that rehabilitation works. However, osteoporosis leaves no room for a break. For Sofiika, a stop in treatment is not just a pause; it is a threat of irreversible deformities. Her body cries out for movement, for professional verticalization, and for specialized exercises that will help her bones grow stronger. The next treatment course is scheduled for July. This is a chance to save everything that has been fought for with every breath over the years. The price of this chance is 45,391 hryvnias. This covers hours of work by special educators, speech therapists, and rehabilitation specialists who teach the girl to control her body and her voice.

Sofiika's family exhausted all their resources long ago, as the struggle has continued for years without a single day of rest. They stand before closed doors, behind which lies their daughter's future, and the only key is our collective support. We urge you to hear the story of this bright girl. Sofiika has already proven that she is stronger than her diagnoses. She learned to sit and crawl where immobility was predicted. Help her achieve the most important goal – not to break under the weight of the disease, but to gather her strength and one day take that very first step her mother prays for every night. Every contribution is a brick in the foundation of her health, a testament to the fact that miracles happen when we unite.
