Sofiia’s fragile hope: help to strengthen her life

Sofiyka came into the world after a difficult birth that left a lasting impact: cerebral palsy, a congenital brain abnormality, and tetraparesis. But the most painful thing is that, because she is unable to walk, her body has begun to “weaken” from the inside—as early as 2019, doctors diagnosed the girl with osteoporosis. 

In May 2026, a fundraising project for Sofia Biloushchenko titled “Sofiyka’s Fragile Hope: Strengthening Her Life Before It’s Too Late” was published on the platform of the Charitable Organization “UBB” International Charitable Foundation, with a total goal of 45,391.00 UAH. According to outgoing letter No. 08 dated 08/06/26, the funds raised through the project, totaling 26,500.00 UAH (twenty-six thousand five hundred UAH 00 kopecks), were transferred to our account to cover the cost of rehabilitation treatment for Sofia Serhiivna Biloushchenko.

Thanks to the funds raised by the Charitable Organization International Charitable Foundation “UBB,” we were able to pay for the child’s rehabilitation course at Kozyavkina International Rehabilitation Clinic LLC in Truskavets from July 14, 2026 - July 24, 2026, for a total amount of 26,500.00 UAH.

We paid the full amount as billed, but because the family qualifies for a personal discount, the cost of treatment was significantly reduced to 26,500.00 (twenty-six thousand five hundred hryvnias 00 kopecks) UAH.

At the clinic, the child underwent the following treatments: neurophysiological correction of the spine using the V.I. Kozyavkin method, reflexology, a massage regimen, mobilization exercises, mobilization of peripheral joints, apitherapy, mechanotherapy, gait training, and orthocephalic massage.

Thanks to the treatment, muscle tone in the limbs is showing a tendency toward normalization. The intensity of tendon reflexes has not changed, and pathological Babinski pyramidal plantar reflexes persist. The range of passive and active motion in the joints of the limbs has increased; coordination has improved; blood supply to the limbs has improved; her feet are warmer; and she is walking longer distances. Excessive salivation has decreased. She has become more attentive, calmer, more focused, stronger, and more resilient.
