Step by step: the story of Daniel's struggle. 2

Since birth, Daniel has been diagnosed with congenital brain malformations: corpus callosum hypoplasia and cerebellar hypoplasia. Cortical hypoplasia of the hemispheres, hydrocephalus (open form). Tetraparesis. Motor impairment, Level 2 according to the GMFCS classification. Right hand function, Level 1; left hand function, Level 2 according to the MACS classification. General speech underdevelopment, Level 1. Dysarthria. Dysplasia of the right hip joint. Equinovarus deformity of the feet. Grade 2, 5-shaped scoliosis. The child requires systematic rehabilitation 3–4 times. Treatment at rehabilitation centers allows children with such diagnoses to achieve maximum independence within the limits of their motor impairments and associated disabilities. With proper organization of treatment and rehabilitation, children can lead a practically normal life. Our goal is to get Danya back on his feet and give his family the joy of having a child with unrestricted mobility. 
The project launched on November 19, 2025. Thanks to charitable donations, we raised 35,000.00 UAH, and the boy traveled to the International Center for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology for rehabilitation under a guarantee letter from our foundation. Treatment took place from March 11 to 20, 2026.
The following treatments were provided: physical therapy, therapeutic massage, speech therapy sessions, sessions with a special education teacher, and sessions with an occupational therapist.
After receiving all the documents from the rehabilitation center, we paid the bill in the amount of 35,000.00 UAH.

His mother wrote the following about this course: “Danya completed a rehabilitation course from March 11 to March 20, 2026. He participated in sessions with a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, massage therapy, physical therapy, and sensory integration. We completed a trial course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy; the child behaved calmly in the hyperbaric chamber. During physical therapy sessions, we worked on strengthening muscles and improving coordination. During sensory integration sessions, we worked on attention span and coordination of movements, learned to dress and undress independently, improved hand control, and developed fine motor skills. The physical therapist reported positive progress upon completion of the course. Overall, we see significant improvements in both the child’s physical and mental development. During this time, Danya has become more resilient and focused. He participates more actively in classes and has become more attentive.”
