Sixteen-year-old Kseniia is studying at a medical college and knows exactly what she wants to become – an endocrinologist. Not just a specialist with a diploma, but someone who truly understands her patients, because she herself goes through this path every day.
For 7 years, Kseniia has been living with diabetes. Every day for her is constant monitoring of sugar levels, insulin injections, dozens of finger pricks, anxiety and responsibility for her own life. This is a struggle that has no days off. But Kseniia does not give up, does not complain. She studies, dreams, makes plans and confidently moves forward. The girl wants to help others – the same children and teenagers who face diabetes and the fears that come with it every day.
Continuous glucose monitoring sensors for her are an opportunity to live without constant pain and anxiety. This is a chance to focus on her studies, her dreams, and at least a little bit of a normal teenage life. It's about safety, health, and life.
We sincerely ask you to support Kseniia on this path. So that she has the opportunity not only to fight, but also to live. To live and work on the realization of her dream.
