On April 10, 2020, the project “Hospitals need respirators” was posted on the website of the UBB ICF, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for FFP2 respirators for the Zhytomyr Regional Children's Hospital for a total amount of UAH 27,600. 00 kop. This collection was a quick reaction of the Foundation to the situation in Ukraine - the pandemic of coronavirus infection and the insecurity of hospitals and the PPE population. But due to the fact that the collection was moving slowly, it was stopped according to the Letter dated November 23, 2020. The amount of funds raised was UAH 3,929. 57 kop. After contacting the Zhytomyr Hospital, we found out that at that time not only respirators but also protective suits for doctors were relevant. That's why we also bought protective overalls for a part of the amount and with the funds of the fund. There was a slight delay in reporting due to a delay in receiving hospital reports, a large number of weekends due to the New Year holidays, and a two-week lockdown. Thank you for your assistance in implementing this project!
