Medicines for Valentyn

Valentyn dreamed of a pilot’s career. He had to finish school and go to college but the disease ruined all his plans. Now Valentyn has only one dream – to get well and to return to his life without the disease. The teenager has to undergo the last stage of treatment: high-dose chemotherapy and transplant of his own stem cells. This is a complicated procedure that requires a long list of medicines.

The doctor prescribed immunoglobulin and high quality antibiotic to support the immune system and to prevent the spread of infections. The cost of drugs is nearly ten thousand and in addition, many supplies are required (syringes, bandages, IVs, etc.). His family is exhausted by long-term treatment and they ask for help.

Valentyn fell ill in January. He complained of back pain. They treated osteochondrosis without success. Massages only caused more pain. Then a swelling in the area of the right shoulder blade appeared. At the National Cancer Institute, a diagnosis was made: PNEP of the right shoulder blade. The treatment is long. After completing all the necessary chemo cycles by protocol and the surgery, an autotransplantation and high dose chemotherapy were prescribed.
