Little Roman is very kind and sensitive boy who unfortunately knows what pain is. He feels pain because of injections and surgeries, he feels pain because he wants to run with his peers but he cannot do it being in a wheelchair. Little Roman has good chances to recover and to go to the first grade at school. To achieve it all he is needs necessary medicines to treat the tumor that affected his leg.
The government either forgot or couldn’t provide the pediatric department with chemotherapy drugs, so the families of ill children have to buy everything themselves. In the Churayev family the father works but his salary is not enough.
In the eyes of parents there is anxiety and pleading to help as well as fear that the medicines won’t arrive in time and the tumor that can be treated will start spreading in their child’s body again.
Little Roman fell ill in winter. The parents brought him to the local hospital. After the examination he was sent to the Institute of Cancer for a consultation. There the diagnosis was made and a treatment protocol was prescribed.
Little Roman completed all preoperative cycles of chemotherapy, then he was operated on and an affected bone was replaced by a bone spacer. Now he needs to continue postoperative chemo but to able to do it his family has to buy medicines. The family doesn’t have any more money for further treatment. They need your help!
Together we can help Little Roman to hear the bell at school on the 1st of September and to receive his first excellent grades!
