Shmalko Illia is a boy who, after his birth, spent 13 days on a ventilator, 3 days on non-invasive ventilation, and then another 12 days in the intensive care unit. The birth was very difficult, the baby did not cry. That's when Illia was taken to the neonatal anesthesiology and intensive care unit. Only after a thorough medical examination, the boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy with motor disorders and delayed psychomotor development.

Now Illia is 5 years old, but some things that his peers do with ease, without thinking and without making efforts, this boy is still not able to do. Fortunately, he was treated in time, and each new course of rehabilitation brings positive results.

Thus, after the last therapy, Illia's physical condition improved and spasticity decreased, he became more attentive, began to orient himself in space, kneel and even take a few steps! The boy began to take objects in his hands better, learned to drink through a straw and began to drink better from a cup. Ilya is also learning letters and numbers. The next goal is to learn to eat with a spoon and fork.
