Matviy’s treatment requires help

Matvii saw the beginning of the full-scale war in his native Odesa. He was only 2 years old at the time, and of course he doesn't remember how he, his mother, and his 10-year-old brother left for the country. It seems that his conscious life was supposed to begin in other conditions and in another country. But for Matvii and his mother, it was not easy. Eight months later, the boy was diagnosed with insulin-dependent diabetes. The woman did not dare to rebuild her life in a foreign country alone, with two minor children in her arms. Matvii's mother decided to return home with her children.

Upon returning to Odesa, Matvii was immediately admitted to a hospital bed. The doctors explained to his mother that her child would need insulin injections for the rest of his life, for every meal or even drink. This is about 180 injections per month. Matvii was diagnosed with a disability.

Currently, the state provides treatment for diabetics only with insulin and test strips. But this is not enough for good compensation for diabetes, and it depends on the compensation whether the child will have complications on the eyes or kidneys in the future. With a glucose meter, you need to take 20 measurements a day, which means 20 finger pricks! To reduce the child's suffering from punctures, to have good sugars and avoid health complications, Matvii needs round-the-clock glucose monitoring with the help of sensors.

The family's financial situation is difficult. Matvii's father is ill and needs spinal surgery. Matvii stays in the kindergarten only until 12 o'clock, then his condition must be carefully monitored. 

His mother asks for help with sensors and hopes for understanding!
