Tanya's treatment cannot be stopped!

     First-grader Tetiana Sheremet was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Her parents were shocked, disbelieving, and fearful for their daughter's life and health. But they had to pull themselves together, as intensive chemotherapy lay ahead. 
   In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the charity operator Pomagaem Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 210 dated 5 July 2021, the project ‘Tanya's treatment must not be stopped!’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting charitable donations for the treatment of Tetyana Sheremet.
   Thanks to the Ukrainian Charity Exchange, UAH 100,000.00 (one hundred thousand hryvnias, 00 kopecks) was raised, which we received in the Fund's account in October 2021. In the same year, we ordered medicine for Tanya in the amount of 10,888.92 UAH (ten thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight hryvnias, 92 kopecks). Of this amount, 12,062.08 UAH (twelve thousand sixty-two hryvnias, 08 kopecks) was spent on medicine for Tanya in 2022, in 2023 – 10,964.93 UAH (ten thousand nine hundred and sixty-four hryvnias, 93 kopecks), in 2024 – 7,178.35 UAH (seven thousand one hundred and seventy-eight hryvnias, 35 kopecks). 
   In March 2025, we helped a girl with medicines worth 3,510.33 UAH (three thousand five hundred and ten hryvnias, 33 kopecks), in May – in the amount of 2,177.89 UAH (two thousand one hundred and seventy-seven hryvnias, 89 kopecks), in June – in the amount of 2,016.86 UAH (two thousand sixteen hryvnias, 86 kopecks), in July – in the amount of 3,135.02 UAH (three thousand one hundred and thirty-five hryvnias, 02 kopecks), and in December – in the amount of 1,350.91 UAH (one thousand three hundred and fifty hryvnias, 91 kopecks).
   On 9 December, Tanya underwent surgery, during which the tumour was completely removed. The child cried constantly because of the pain and because she was worried that her jaw would no longer look the same. 
   After completing her cancer treatment, Tanya will undergo another complex operation, which will last 12 hours. According to the surgeon, during this procedure, bone will again be transplanted from her leg to her jaw.
   After some time, the doctor examined Tanya and noted that the healing process was gradually beginning, and allowed her and her mother to return home for a while.
   Tanya is currently at home awaiting the histology results, which should be available soon. The doctors will announce the date for the continuation of treatment in Lviv. The next operation will be scheduled after the completion of sarcoma therapy.
   We plan to use the remaining funds in the amount of 46,714.71 UAH (forty-six thousand seven hundred and fourteen hryvnias, 71 kopecks) for Tanya's needs in 2026.
