Don’t leave Karina to the mercy of fate!

The feeling of loneliness and uselessness is so difficult for any child. And it is even more hard to perceive loneliness when a baby has parents who do not need it. Karina is 20 years old, she is a child with CP (cerebral palsy). The girl's mother abuses alcohol. Moreover, she does not take care of her little girl’s treatment and lives separately from her. Karina’s grandmother Nadiia has been bringing up and caring for her little grandchild all her life. Now granny is 77 years old, and formerly when she was younger, Karina has undergone courses of treatment at Bersenev Medical Center several times. Then difficult times took place and grandmother couldn’t bring the girl to the hospital.

Grandmother Nadiia lives in Pivtsi village, Kagarlytskyi district with her granddaughter. Now despite her venerable age, granny is ready to bring Karina for treatment every day, and after all necessary procedures to go back home by bus. The matter is that the grandmother's small pension and disability assistance is all money the family receives per month. Funds for treatment are out of the question. Grandmother has raised funds for more than half a year in order the child underwent one course of treatment at Bersenev Medical Center.

Karina needs urgent treatment in the near future. Although her mother doesn’t take part in her daughter’s life, when she found out the girl intends to undertake treatment, she was very angry and displeased and still is. Nevertheless, the kid’s mother is deprived of parental rights and grandmother is tutor-at-law who looks after the child. Every of us can give Karina a chance to undergo a cource of treatment more than once in a year. Her granny wishes her granddaughter quick recovery and promises that if funds will be raised, she she would certainly go with her to the hospital. Let’s together support this poor family!
