Makar: the road to freedom of movement. 2
Makarchik is a seven-year-old boy who shines with cheerfulness and a sincere smile. He loves socializing, active games, splashing in ponds and dancing on his father's shoulders. And he does not like to lie down at all. But...
The boy was born earlier than planned. His mother's first pregnancy was complicated by premature placental abruption, so she gave birth by cesarean section. The baby was born with asphyxia. The first 10 days of Makar's life were spent in the intensive care unit, full of struggle for health and life.
Unfortunately, oxygen deprivation led to a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. This became a challenge for the child and his family, as cerebral palsy limits the boy's movements and affects his psychomotor development.
Despite the difficult start, Makar is courageously fighting his condition. Thanks to the love and support of his parents, he has the opportunity to attend a kindergarten-style comprehensive rehabilitation center where he communicates with his peers and works with educators. Almost every day, the family goes for walks, visits shopping centers, where Makar is excited to ride elevators and meet people. In the summer, the boy enjoys spending time at the beach, where he watches children diving and splashing with water. However, Makar's dream of joining the children's games remains unfulfilled. Now he is unable to move independently and take care of himself.
Makar needs regular rehabilitation courses at specialized neurological centers. Thanks to these sessions, muscle tone decreases, blood circulation improves, movements become more active, and the boy feels relaxed and energized. Rehabilitation gives him a chance for freer and more active movements, the opportunity to receive new emotions from communication and to be in a friendly atmosphere. After each of these courses of treatment, the boy makes significant progress.
In November, the Rehabilitation Center is waiting for Makar for another course. Your help will be a chance for the boy to improve his quality of life, greater freedom of movement and new opportunities. Thank you for your generous support!
