Maksym is one of twins born nine years ago to the Sidun family. From his first weeks, Maksym has had to fight for his life. At the age of three months, he underwent his first brain bypass surgery, and then six months later he underwent a second one. But that was not the end of it. The boy developed epilepsy.

For the first five years of his life, the boy was a regular patient in intensive care units. Specialists could not find the right treatment for him. But finally they succeeded. For the past five years, Maksym has been leading a difficult but relatively peaceful life. He constantly travels with his mother to the Bukovyna Center for rehabilitation and takes expensive medications that help him. But despite the difficult diagnosis, the boy tries hard and studies.

The medications help Maksym prevent seizures. Thanks to the medication, he has been in remission for four months now, meaning he lives without seizures. This allows him to work more on rehabilitation programs and massages. And it gives a considerable result. The boy began to sit independently for 15-20 minutes, which is already an achievement for him. These results need to be further developed and the child's recovery needs to be restored.

Unfortunately, the family is unable to provide Maksym with all the necessary treatment on their own. Only his father works in the family, and relatives help a little. But this is not enough. That's why we are asking for help with Maksym's medicines again.
