A serious illness appeared when Maxim was 3 months old: cough, weight loss, stomach pain, kidney problems – these were the first signs of cystic fibrosis in an infant. The teenager should make 5-6 inhalations every day and take several types of medications to save oneself from an insidious disease. Tubes, cups, and filters used for inhalation should be sterilized after each use and completely changed several times a year. Now the guy is making inhalations using a regular inhaler from the chemist's shop, and his mother uses boiling water for sterilization. This is critically not enough to affect the disease. Maxim needs a powerful inhaler that will deliver medicine directly to the bronchi, a sterilizer to stop bacteria, and a respiratory exerciser for easier sputum discharge. The family cannot buy all this on their own due to lack of funds. Even before the warmother went to work abroad to earn money, but Maxim became worse and she was forced to return urgently. And in the current situation, there is not enough money for even the most necessary things.

Maxim is an active child when he feels well. Cycling, roller skating, and soccer are the teenager's favorite activities, even in wartime. This is good, because movement is especially important in the treatment of cystic fibrosis: after activity sputum is easier to cough up. But there are days when the disease aggravates and the guy is not interested in any entertainment. Then there is fever, shortness of breath, dry cough, due to poor digestion weight is easily lost, which is already less than normal. For a child with cystic fibrosis, every 100 grams gained is valuable. To have strength to fight the disease Maxim needs a special high-calorie mixture.
