Maksym: living with autism

Friends, meet Maksym Makhynych, he is 6 years old. The boy has childhood autism, delayed psycho-speech and physical development, astigmatism and flat feet. On the recommendation of doctors, Maksym needs medical rehabilitation in specialized centers.

Maksym needs constant assistance in self-care in everyday life, as he often does not understand what is safe and what is not, he does not know how to communicate and interact with peers, is often distracted and has a distracted attention, and reacts to prohibitions by crying or even aggression. He covers his ears when he hears unpleasant sounds. The boy cannot chew food, has poorly developed finger motor skills and coordination of movements, and generally has a poor sense of body.

The parents do everything to improve their son's condition, they teach him household skills, and engage in his intellectual and physical development. Fortunately, it is paying off: Maksym knows all his family members, calls them by their first names, can respond to his own name, knows letters, colors and shapes, counts to twenty, recites short poems and sings songs.

Maksym is a wonderful boy who needs our support. He loves listening to music and watching videos about building houses, likes to build different structures and wants to be healthy. To do this, he needs to regularly visit rehabilitation centers. Help him to get a new course of treatment!
