Maksym – long-awaited child, about his appearance but the parents wanted more than five years and 6 November 2013, a miracle happened – a son was born. But fortunately joined a grief – Maksym cried after birth and he was taken to the intensive care unit. The baby was not able to breathe, and 1.5 months he underwent surgery to install a tracheostomy (tube in the throat), through which he breathes now. To restore normal breathing and speech child to do some operations, funds for which the family doesn't have.

Behind the receiver needs constant monitoring and care, to make sure that the hole is not clogged and the child suffocated. Forecasts of doctors about the "non-viability" Maksym did not materialize, he not only started to hold his head, he started walking!!!

To restore normal breathing and speech the child needs to perform skilled inspection in Israel and a few surgeries (plastic surgery of the soft palate, perform direct laryngoscopy, holding decannulation). To restore the respiratory lumen laryngoscopy may be insufficient and require additional plastic, but the cost of this surgery, the doctor shows no signs, it will be known after detailed examination. The cost of consumables for the care of tracheostomy – 4000-5000 UAH/month. To maintain respiration need to buy oxygen concentrator, medical aspirator battery and a nebulizer with battery power. Maksym from an ordinary family and to collect the necessary sum will not work – the entire income of the family and relatives are used to support breathing.

Due to the small weight Maksym surgeons in Ukraine are not taken to do the operation, Israel is now ready to take the child for treatment. TO POSTPONE THE EXAMINATION AND THE SURGERY IS IMPOSSIBLE – THE RISK OF BLOCKAGE OF THE TUBE IS ALWAYS THERE!!! April 7, 2015 Maksym clogged tube – he stopped breathing. Parents on their own tried to breathe life into the child, while waiting for an ambulance – do artificial respiration through a tracheostomy. BUT, the ambulances arrived one after another WITHOUT OXYGEN!!! Only an hour later, in the ICU Maksym was given oxygen, and after another 2 hours the baby (THANK GOD) came to life! Then – a month of treatment in the hospital with pneumonia (a complication of obstruction).

Maksym's parents are asked concerned donors to help raise money for an oxygen concentrator that the baby could come out of the walls of the hospital and be at home…
