The child needs support with treatment

Anya is a long-awaited child in the Olefir family. She was born prematurely, but was a perfectly healthy child. Anya grew and developed according to her age. Over time, her mother began to notice that her baby was drinking a lot of water and going to the toilet frequently, and she insisted that doctors check the child's tests. Unfortunately, the mother's bad feelings came true. Anya's blood tests showed ketones and high sugar levels. A repeat test at the Poltava Children's Hospital only confirmed that the girl had type 1 diabetes.

So Anya was admitted to the intensive care unit. For the first two weeks, her mother just cried in despair. But then she realized that her little girl's life would go on, but in a different way. Today they are trying to live in a new way. Four times a day, insulin injections, counting food units, and eating by the hour. Anya is cheerful and active, playing games she remembers everything she is not allowed to do in life - baking cream cakes for her dolls, treating them to "pizza" and "spaghetti".

Anya lives with the emotions of a normal girl her age, even though she has so many limitations due to the disease. She sincerely loves animals, draws and sculpts with enthusiasm from plasticine. She has her favorite characters - Pepa the pig and Washington the fox. At the kindergarten, she has a friend with whom she enjoys playing and communicating.

The girl's mother sees her task as helping Anya grow up to be as healthy as possible, but diabetes is an expensive disease to treat. It is always a financial expense, and quite a big one for an ordinary Ukrainian family. And her mother's savings are running out. Anya needs help with further treatment, help her!
