Little artist needs help! Second stage

Tania is a little girl who came for treatment from Alchevsk. In her city she left her paintings, her pastels and favorite brushes. Her mum expected to come back home quickly when she was going to Kyiv and that everything would be like before.

But, unfortunately, the diagnosis that was made at the Institute of Cancer was not comforting: osteogenic sarcoma. This horrible disease did not spare the girl and started living its own in her leg. Tania could not finish the fifth grade or get awards for her successful school studies… But now the most important thing is to overcome the disease! For it Tania needs an endoprosthesis worth almost half a million UAH.

Tania fell ill in spring this year. She got injured and her leg hurt. The pain was treated as traumatic. However, after a while a swelling appeared and the girl had fever. In Luhansk the girl underwent X-ray and CT and with a suspected tumor she was sent to Kyiv for further examinations. Since May the girl has been treated at the National Cancer Institute. Now according to the protocol Tania needs a surgery aimed at endoprosthesis insertion. The prosthesis will replace the affected bone and the leg will be saved. Medicines and medical materials are prepared but the date for surgery cannot be set. The reason for is the lack of endoprosthesis.

Tania’s mother raises two kids on her own as the father left the family and does not support them at all. It’s impossible for her to find almost half a million UAH. The mother appealed to different organizations and foundations asking for help. The Nechitaylo Family Foundation pays a part of the necessary amount but 189 000 UAH are yet to be found.

The mother begs to save her child!
