At the age of two, Nika's life took on a new, unfortunately unfortunate meaning. Doctors diagnosed her with cerebral palsy, and since then, the girl's life has been filled with visits to a psychologist, neuropsychologist and speech therapist. Nika takes anticonvulsant medication and needs constant physical therapy and massages.

At birth, the girl suffered severe asphyxia, and the baby was twice tied with the umbilical cord. Immediately after giving birth, Nika was admitted to the intensive care unit, where, fortunately, doctors managed to stabilize the child's condition. But since then, she has been in constant need of medication. For this girl, it is quite natural to be in a hospital bed.

Thanks to the persistent efforts of her mother, Nika has a positive treatment result. The girl's coordination, walking and understanding have improved. She learns letters with her mother, new sounds appear in her speech, and together with the specialists Nika prepares her hands for writing and enjoys practicing on her own. This year the girl plans to go to school.

Her mother is raising her daughter on her own and cannot cope with the costs of her treatment. Nika constantly needs examinations and medications. She has no one to help her.
