This little sun with the gentle name Olesia was born on January 1, 2015. The girl has cerebral palsy, and this diagnosis is not so bad when she has severe epilepsy and 6 operations on the gastrointestinal tract behind her back. In any case, the brave Olesya together with her parents overcame all this, and now her main task is effective rehabilitation. Now is the time for her, the brain is most susceptible to learning. To make new steps in development, the baby needs your help.

Olesia's birthday was marred by alarming circumstances, as were many of the following days: the little one kept screaming in pain. In the maternity hospital, she was treated for dysbacteriosis, then she was treated in the hospital for lactose intolerance. All new drugs were prescribed, but there was no result. And then Olesya had convulsions - 200-300 attacks per day.

The crumb was transferred to another hospital, and from there (after the appointment of anticonvulsants, which did not help) were discharged home with a farewell: "Solve your problems yourself." Parents appealed to the Dnipro Regional Children's Hospital, and there, finally, they discovered a surgical problem of the gastrointestinal tract - Hirschsprung's disease. The girl was operated on, the affected part of the intestine was removed, and the colostomy was established. But because of the strong convulsive seizures, the seams on the tummy diverged again and again. In 2 weeks, Olesya experienced 4 surgeries; Crumb at this time was 3 months.

Then there were 2 more operations with an interval of six months, and, finally, the stoma was removed. The Regional Hospital managed to stop and convulsions with the help of drugs. And then Olesya took part in the American experimental program, taking a new anticonvulsant drug. After that, epilepsy disappeared from the girl's life. But cerebral palsy remained. In the rehabilitation center in Novomoskovsk Olesya is constantly engaged in exercise therapy. Parents carry the baby on massages and acupuncture. She has twice been rehabilitated at the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets. In the complex, this gives an excellent result: Olesya is already keeping her head well, is sitting confidently in a wheelchair, stands on all fours. She has become much more attentive, there is interest in the world around her, Olesya enjoys playing musical toys with pleasure.

Doctors who recently performed an encephalogram said that there was no epic activity at all and now the ideal time for development is that the brain is as susceptible as possible. Last year, after a course in Truskavets, Olesya made a rapid breakthrough in development, her parents hope for a similar effect this time. Let's help find funds for a new course for Olesya in June!
