Little Tonya fights like adult!

18 days in intensive care, 15 days on mechanical ventilation, 10 days in a coma and terrible diagnosis - cerebral palsy. Thus began the life of this little girl, and continues for almost 2 years in hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Girl, from whom turned away and left father, but mother stayed close, who herself day after day fights back a devious disease for her child.

Tonya was born by emergency caesarean section and immediately got into the ICU. During difficult birth, her heartbeat started to drop; she stopped breathing and fell into a coma. A month later, endless surveys revealed a cyst in the head. Then the hospitals again, tests, examinations.

It seemed it would never stop until mother was advised to bring her daughter for a therapy at the International Clinic of Rehabilitation.

After the first rehabilitation mom saw very good results and decided to continue treatment at this clinic. Using the money paid by the State for the birth of a child, her mother was able to bring Tonya to Truskavets twice. Doctors recommended undergo rehabilitation after every 3 months, but mother is not capable to do so. She is raising daughter by herself. From all their relatives, only Tonya’s grandma is helping financially, but she cannot pay for treatments as she is retired.

Mom really wants to help her daughter. But full recovery is still a long way away and she could not do it alone! Unfortunately, there is no one to turn to but us.
