Little friends need our help!

Shelter "Best Friends" was established in 2014, is located in the Kiev region, its inhabitants are 452 dogs, 320 cats, 3 horses, 2 wolves, 2 foxes, 2 raccoon dogs, and one goat. Now is a very difficult time for shelters. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the situation for shelters has deteriorated, as the amount of support has decreased.

Since its inception, the shelter has not been designed for such a huge number of animals, and therefore today is in a very difficult situation. It needs material and financial assistance, it is necessary to increase the premises and territory, because the animals simply do not fit in its walls, although cozy. The shelter survives only thanks to charitable donations and assistance provided by caring people.

Every day the animals need different food: dry food, canned food, porridge with minced meat, veterinary support, because usually new animals come to the shelter sick, and also need constant vaccination, treatment for fleas and ticks, detergents, in winter – warm clothes and insulation for open-air cages. The list of needs never ends.

By the way, maybe a pet could become your friend) Currently, our Foundation is raising funds to support the shelter with food and ensure decent living conditions for animals, because winter is ahead and we need to be ready for the cold.
