Little boy who dreams to become a great doctor

A little boy, a long-awaited child Martin was born 2 months aerlier with 1900 grams weight with the hemorrhage of the 3d Stage of severity. After that there were long months of the child's cry, the bitter tears of the family, a life-issue surgery at the age of 10 months. Almost all the first year Martin and his Mom spent at the hospitals hoping for the young organism and professional medical help. When the boy was 1 year old, it became clear that the worst fears were confirmed. Martin's brain damage meant cerebral palsy.

"The doctors were at a loss and recommended to get the disability papers and accept the fate. But we decided to choose a different life. And a miracle happened – we've found a doctor who knew how to help our child. He said he didn't know how many years it would take, but he thought that Martin had a chance."

Three years have passed since then. Martin underwent 28 rehabilitation courses at the center of medical rehabilitation for disabled children "Apis Melifica" in Khmelnytskyi. In terms of intellectual development Martin has gone long ahead of the children of his age, he reads and counts, has a wonderful memory and a great interest in the starring sky, geography and the world automobile industry. If you ask him what he wants to do when he grows up, Martin answers that he wants to become a homeopath doctor.

It's recommended to send him to school for talented children – IF – he ever starts walking on his own. But Martin's parents truly believe that this will happen one day. The little boy who couldn't do almost anything on his own, now he can sit, crawl and walk along the wall.

His family is fighting for the boy and believes in the support of God and kind people. They are asking everyone who has a possibility to help pay the child's rehabilitation courses. And maybe one day Ukraine will gain a talented doctor who will help other children with a scary diagnosis of cerebral palsy.
