Little Matvii and not childish difficulties. 2

This wonderful 6-year-old boy is Matviiko. He is still so young, but in his short age he has already faced challenges that not every adult can overcome. He grew up as an active and inquisitive child, took his first steps at one year and a month old, but soon his mother began to notice that something was wrong.

Matvii stopped responding to requests, did not make eye contact, did not follow simple instructions, and played with toys differently. At the age of 2, his parents went to the doctors, who diagnosed the boy with autism. This was the beginning of Matvii's struggle for his future.

The boy underwent many medical procedures: classes with speech therapists, psychologists, rehabilitation specialists, visited various centers, took dolphin therapy courses and medication. Thanks to this, there was noticeable progress. However, due to his unstable emotional state and the challenges of wartime, Matvii began to lose the skills he had acquired, withdrawing into himself again.

Now the boy has strong selectivity in eating, stereotypical behavior and lack of speech. Matvii needs comprehensive treatment in a specialized center where professionals will work with him to help him take important steps towards development, speak and return to a normal childhood.

A mother's heart breaks when she sees that her son cannot go to school with his peers. But we can change this! The family spends all their money on treatment, but it is not enough. Together we can give Matvii a chance for a happy childhood and the opportunity to attend a new course of treatment!
