Little lungs need air

On April 6, 2020, the project “Little lungs need air” was posted on the website of the UBB ICF, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for a ventilator for the Rivne Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. This project was discovered as a rapid response to the spread of coronavirus. Since our foundation helps children's hospitals throughout Ukraine, we decided to go ahead and help provide hospitals with ventilators, although at that time the hospital did not accept inpatients, but it was on the list of those who should take if the number of patients will increase. Unfortunately, the project failed to raise the required amount of funds in December 2020 year we were forced to stop the project (according to the Letter of December 2, 2020) and on December 3, 2020 received from ICF "UBB" on our account 30 282 (thirty thousand two hundred and eighty-two) 15 kopecks. We were able to use these funds to purchase high-quality finger pulse oximeters - also necessary equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of Covid-19. But we soon received a request to continue the project, as donors appeared, in which was able to transfer part of the proceeds from the sale of calendars to support this project. Therefore, we continued the collection (according to the Letter dated December 6, 2020). By April 2021, the project raised UAH 2,600. 52 kopecks, the project was stopped, and with the funds raised we purchased personal protective equipment for the hospital. The remaining unspent funds were returned to the UBB ICF account in accordance with the Rules, Principles and Procedures.
