Mother's hope

Denys's mother constantly bears her own cross. Father does not care about his son. The need for permanent presence near the child does not give an opportunity to work – they live on a disability pension. Is there a need to prove that rehabilitation bills are not real for them? Mother cannot refuse treatment in no case. The acquiring the necessary for normal life habitual skills by a boy: to hold a spoon, say the first words, learn to sit and walk depends on the timeliness of the treatment. Mom hugs and thanks to everyone who hears it! 

From the maternity hospital, little Denys did not go home – to the prepared bed in the children's room. The first dwelling for the baby was the cuvet of the Stanishiwka Regional Hospital. Denys was born at 39 weeks The boy was pushed out of the womb. From birth, together with my mother's milk, the baby took medicines prescribed by a neurologist. Within 8 months there was still hope that the treatment would help. One year old Denys was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, double hemiplegia.

Since then, the baby has become a regular visitor to the local neurological department. At the age of 2, mother started to take Denys to other cities – they underwent courses of treatment in Mikulintsy, Lviv, Vinnitsa, Odessa. A local charitable organization provided an opportunity to undergo a course of hippotherapy. Positive results appeared after treatment in Truskavets by the Koziavkin method. Denys began to keep his head, the foot rest has strengthened, the grasping reflex was fixed. It is now very important to undergo a rehab course in this clinic. The bill has been received. And what next, if parents have nothing to pay for it?

Double hemiplegia is not cure completely. The effectiveness of rehabilitation depends not only on the condition of the child, but also on the participation of the mother. Decisive in the treatment of cerebral palsy is the family atmosphere and the mother's desire to constantly work with the child and, having overcome all the difficulties, help him get out of critical condition.
