When a crisis comes to a family, it's hard. When such a family has children, it is doubly difficult. And when parents in such a family cannot feed their children, it's already scary.

The HRCF "Social Assistance Service" has been supporting families in difficult life circumstances in the project "Help for families with children" since 2012. These are families with parents or children with disabilities, families with many children or internally displaced families. The Fund helps parents to cope with difficulties, to keep the family for the child and the child in the family. The project is working on the social support of the family and the assistance of specialists until it comes out of the crisis. However, both social and material support in the form of food and essential goods is very important. Since the process of social work is lengthy, it is the help with food that enables the family to survive the difficult period.

We support 90 families with food packages every month. The price of one set is 472,00 UAH. This is a real chance for the family not to face hunger and to feed the children. For the purchase of food sets we need 42 480,00 UAH. Every month.
