Mum, I want to go too

Nazar is 17 years old. His dream is simple – to walk on his own. Not to watch from afar as others laugh and play, but to take his first step and feel that he too can do more.

This is the age when life should be vibrant, when friends call you to go out, when the future seems limitless. But for Nazar, every movement is work, pain, and hope at the same time. Since childhood, he has lived with diagnoses that others whisper: cerebral palsy (mixed tetraparesis, ataxic syndrome), multiple developmental defects, mirror image of internal organs.

Nazar underwent a complex operation on his legs, after which a very important rehabilitation began. It is like a bridge between "I can't" and "I can." His mother says, "He doesn't ask for anything out loud. But when I see his gaze as he watches the children running, it becomes unbearable for me. I know he wants to do it too. And he has a right to do so."

Nazar is not used to giving up. He patiently does his exercises, grits his teeth when it hurts, and keeps moving. Each new movement is not just a physical action, it is a small freedom. But without another course of rehabilitation, his journey will come to a halt.
