Treatment for little Denys is needed right now, because time is working against us... Denys was born a healthy child, but within a few hours after birth, he began to have serious breathing problems. The baby was urgently hospitalized in the intensive care unit, where he spent five difficult days under the artificial lung ventilation machine. After that, Denys was transferred to the neonatal pathology department, where the fight for his life continued for another three weeks.

When it seemed that the worst was over, his mother noticed that her son, at four months old, was not holding his head, was not interested in toys, and was not turning over. Doctors sent Denys for genetic testing and MRI, and then the family learned the terrible diagnosis - “unbalanced chromosomal pathology, hypogynia of the corpus callosum”. Still, without losing hope, the mother prepared her son for rehabilitation to help him develop. However, at that time, Denys had his first epileptic seizure, and rehabilitation had to be postponed.

The following months were full of hospital walls, expensive medications, numerous tests and expectations. But despite all the difficulties, Denys is now able to focus his eyes, pick up toys (although only with one hand), smile and interact with the world. Every small step he takes is a great achievement!

Due to the war, the family had to move, which suspended rehabilitation and led to the loss of important skills. But the mother does not give up, because she knows that her son has a chance to learn to sit, walk and even speak. But this requires resources - financial and moral.

The mother is raising Denys on her own. She dreams of the day when her son will tell her: “Mom, I will get better!”. But without our help it is impossible.
