Bohdan has been fighting for his life since birth: 2 months of intensive care and treatment. He was born at 27 weeks with a weight of only 1 kg. 

Bohdan is an only child, and it was not easy for his parents to understand that something was going wrong with his development, because there were no visual problems, and until a certain age the child developed according to the norms. The worries came later, at about 7 months, when he did not try to sit up or crawl, as all children do. Doctors examined the boy later, not immediately, but made a disappointing diagnosis of cerebral palsy.

It was very painful for his mother to hear these words, but she decided that the boy would be like all children of his age! Of course, it was hard psychologically. Since the beginning, the boy has undergone several rehabilitation courses every year, as well as medication, and this is a huge expense. The parents really want and believe that their 7-year-old son will start walking and playing with children on his own.

Bohdan is a very smart and promising boy. He went to the 1st grade. He has a great chance to walk on his own. He loves listening to music, singing, counting, and is interested in everything. He has an excellent memory. His hand motor skills are a little weaker, but his parents do not give up, they are working on it. Cerebral palsy is not a sentence, it is an incredible work on oneself.

The life of each of us is filled with difficulties, some of which are perceived as insurmountable. A person faces a choice - to give up or to gather strength and move on. Never give up! A special child is the kind of sincere love that you don't always find among healthy people. Life goes on, and it is wonderful, you need to do everything for your child!

Today the boy has some results. He started to walk holding one hand, and his crossed legs disappeared. The boy gets tired walking far and long, so he has to use a wheelchair. Bogdan is just an incredible light, he is very positive, sensual and kind!
