Mariika. I want to hear you!

Mariika was born prematurely. The tiny girl weighed only 720 grams! For two months, she breathed with the help of an artificial lung ventilation device, and a month later she was in an oxygen chamber. Unfortunately, the premature birth did not pass without a trace. Mariia was diagnosed with a heart defect, damage to the central nervous system, scoliosis, dysarthria, and a number of other diagnoses.

Mariika is now 11 years old. She studies in a normal school, has friends, and adores animals. In his spare time, she draws and listens to music. Mariia likes to listen to music loudly. In addition, the mother noticed that her daughter sometimes does not respond to a normal voice. Finally, the speech therapist, who was consulted because of the girl's poor pronunciation, advised her parents to check her hearing.

Mariia underwent an examination, and she was diagnosed with sensorineural deafness. This means that the child does not hear certain sound frequencies. The girl needs hearing aids as soon as possible. This will allow her to hear better, develop speech, and study at the right pace. Distance learning was very difficult for Mariika last year. She did not understand the teacher well, and because of this, she was constantly nervous.

The cost of two hearing aids with consumables is 97 thousand hryvnias. This is an excessive amount for a small family with only a mother and a daughter. Dear friends, let's support Mariika! It's so wonderful to hear, understand and communicate.
