He is looking at you from the pictures. But he cannot see. He can see almost nothing. He has optic atrophy. And Cerebral Palsy, hypoplasia, ie underdevelopment of parietal and frontal lobes ... Doctors from Lisichansk did not want to do a cesarean, and as a result, when the child was born it was blue, with a cord entanglement and was not breathing, it had a brain hypoxia. Then he was crying all the time and could not eat. And to all Elena’s requests to examine the kid, the would-be physicians responded: he’s got cramps and you - postpartum depression. And she was prescribed to take psychiatric drugs.

Olena made the right decision and took Matthew to Lugansk. There the doctors found a swelling of the brain and a whole bunch of pathologies. Active treatment came to fruition, the child began to eat a little, but then the war broke out in Donbas. They were discharged from the hospital and had to live in a village with no stores or pharmacies working. Once the traffic was resumed the mother and son left for Kharkiv.

And here after all the surveys, the child was given the set of diagnoses, due to which the kid in 3 years cannot do anything by himself – he can neither sit nor turn nor speak nor walk. He can barely see his mom… Only the treatment started recently in the clinic brought the long-awaited small improvement - emotional and physical. Matvii went to another course of treatment at the Brain Stimulation Center, and his mom is very happy with the positive changes that have happened to the baby. So she really wants to get there again.

We appeal to all the people: please, help Matvii see the world! His mother, an orphan who is raising the baby, has no money at all. All the savings were taken by her son's illness and the war. Do not pass by someone else's misfortune. We can help this child!
