Medical aid for children affected by the war!

Dear friends, we continue our extremely important fundraising for an automatic endoscopic reprocessor for the Zaporizhzhia Regional Children's Hospital* for quality endoscopy diagnostics for children who suffered as a result of russian aggression. Please join in!

On the basis of the institution, endoscopy diagnostic services are provided to patients who need more accurate diagnosis from all over Ukraine. About 400 children are examined at the hospital per month, more than half of them are internally displaced persons, as well as injured children.

Endoscopic equipment requires constant processing, which ensures sanitation and hygiene. The automatic endoscopic reprocessor allows you to process two endoscopes at the same time. Currently, there is no such device in the institution, as previously the devices were treated chemically, but the Ministry of Health has banned this method.

Endoscopy is a medical method of observing changes inside the body and examining the internal organs of a person with the help of a medical device – an endoscope, without violating the integrity of the skin and mucous membranes. During endoscopy, endoscopes are usually inserted into the body cavity through natural routes, for example, into the stomach through the mouth and esophagus, into the bronchi and lungs through the larynx, into the bladder through the urethra.
