Lera has many things in life; she has pain, suffering, endless struggle with a severe disease, despair... She has a lovely mother Diana, who selflessly gave up all her strength to fight for the life of her little girl. The only thing Lera doesn’t have is what makes childhood the best, the most joyful and carefree time of our lives. Not just her first steps but her first breath in this world, the girl made despite a mercilessly unfair, intractable to understanding, but somehow prepared for her experience.

Lera is the first, long-awaited and very welcome child in a family. Her birth was supposed to be a real gift for mom and dad. But an extremely difficult birth-giving and helplessness of doctors caused extensive hemorrhage of the child’s brain. As a result – hypoxia starvation, convulsions ... and the fate of the helpless invalid in this world. Not wanting to give in to the inexorability of diagnosis, the girl's mother entered into an unequal struggle with this doom. Infinite courses of treatment with all available means within six years have led to some improvements. But a really noticeable progress has been made after Lera was treated in the Center for Brain Stimulation – the place where the kiddies with the most serious diseases are given a chance for a normal life. With each course of treatment emotional and physical condition of the girl is improving.

Lera’s parents are immensely happy watching her progress. But the difficult financial situation does not allow them to continue treatment, and without it – all the effort spent in a long, exhausting struggle for the health of their daughter will be in vain. Let's not let that happen! Let’s respond and help raise funds for the treatment of Valeria! Let's give the little girl a chance for a happy, healthy, fulfilling life in this big world!

Only thanks to the donors of the UBB in June of this year Valeria was able to undergo two courses of treatment in the Center for Brain Stimulation. The results of the treatment will be manifested over time. After 2 months the child is shown rehabilitation without heavy loads, and now an active rehabilitation with the use of simulators is needed. After that, doctors predict an increase in the child's movements.

As of December 2017, Lera was registered for rehabilitative treatment at the Center for Brain Stimulation. Because of persistent financial problems, parents are not able to pay for the rehabilitation of the daughter and cordially ask all those who are not indifferent to help them in the realization of their dreams - to put the child on their feet.
