My happiest day. 3

We are writing to you with a big request for help for little Sofia, who was born on December 30, 2022, on what should have been the happiest day of our lives, but unfortunately it turned into a terrible reality. Sofia was born at 34 weeks, and from the very beginning her life was full of struggles. She was unable to breathe on her own, and a few hours later she was connected to a ventilator and put into a medically induced sleep. Hypoxia, pneumonia, three blood transfusions, anemia – this is just a part of what our little princess had to deal with. The first year of her life was spent in hospitals: bronchiolitis, seizures, influenza A, influenza B – they did not leave her.

"We didn't give up and worked tirelessly every day: massages, swimming pool, Bobath therapy, Voita therapy. All this gave us hope, and we wanted her to have a chance at a normal life. But at the age of 1.2, Sofia was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Now Sofia is 2 years old and has just learned to roll over. She is a beautiful, smiling girl, but she still cannot move on her own. Our family is on the verge of exhaustion. We have spent all our strength and resources on treatment and rehabilitation, but without your help we cannot provide the right level of treatment for Sofia so that she has a chance for a healthy and happy childhood," says her mother.
