Mykolaiv region: reliable rear

The nearest hospital in Mykolaiv region has become a place where people are brought back to life. The life of a severely injured person depends on how quickly the person is taken to the hospital, which people will help him, what equipment is in the hands of surgeon. Physicians desperately need surgical equipment and hemostatic agents.

This hospital is located a few of kilometers from the line of active combat and from Mykolaiv, which is under shelling to this day. In March, Russian troops tried to capture the region to encircle Odessa and take control of all of southern Ukraine. The city was heavily shelled, street fighting broke out and enemy vehicles broke through. After several days of fighting for the city, the Armed Forces of Ukraine rejected the enemy. Since then, wounded soldiers and civilians have been brought to the small city hospital.

During this time, doctors received and saved the lives of about 200 people, performed 168 complex surgical operations on the wounded. Without high-tech modern equipment, only with skillful hands and a scalpel, because the material and technical base of the city hospital was not ready for such difficult cases. Now the victims are brought here from Odessa and Nikolaev regions.

To save lives, doctors need modern equipment. We are raising funds to purchase electrosurgical devices, stop bleeding, defibrillators for mobile ambulance aid unit.
