Moment that changed life

Four years ago, the fatal case radically changed the life of Vlad. After jumping into the water being completely healthy, he opened his eyes already in intensive care. Alive! But at the same time, he was completely immobilized... From that very moment, the hardest work on himself began: on the body, on the consciousness. Constant training, timely rehabilitation and especially the support of people – this is what gives hope and gives strength to continue the struggle. Please support the young man! Give the opportunity to get up from a wheelchair! 

Resting on the sea with friends, Vlad jumped from the pier. As a result of the extremely unsuccessful immersion, he received a fracture of the cervical vertebra and nearly drowned. Then Vlad experienced a lot: three cardiac arrests, operations, implant installation, and tracheostomy. An absolutely healthy and strong young man turned into an immobilized and helpless patient. Always near was the only native person – his mother. For many months she became part of her son, helping him both physically and mentally.

The hardest period is over, but it’s still too early to give up. Vlad has already learned to sit, manage hands and feel the legs. But the main goal is to get out of the wheelchair and return to normal life. Month after month, year after year, working on himself, Vlad is approaching the task at hand. In addition to physical training, Vlad is engaged in self-development and reads a lot. And he is preparing to enter the university. His mom is still always there. She sincerely believes that her son has a full and fulfilling life at the institute, a favorite job, and a happy family!

Vlad visited many rehabilitation centers in Ukraine. After the last rehabilitation at the Bubnovsky Center, in the spring of this year, Vlad seemed to have wings. The results were simply staggering. He managed to stand near the support of thirty minutes! Vlad is of those who do not change their plans for life, no matter what happens! Any difficulties encountered on the way, he tries to overcome on his own. But now without help, he cannot cope. The next rehabilitation in the Bubnovsky Center should begin in the fall. Support Vlad - a young and hopeful young man! He truly believes that ahead of him there are the happiest and important moments in life!
