Mobile evacuation

"Mobile evacuation" is a project for the medical evacuation of wounded soldiers using specially equipped Ukrzaliznytsia wagons. The project has been implemented for 2 years on the idea of Iryna Soloshenko and her direct participation. It is carried out in partnership with Ukrzaliznytsia, the KMS and the KOLO Charitable Foundation. Since May 2022, 70 medical wagons have already been manufactured and equipped, which are divided into evacuation, resuscitation and support wagons. 

The wagons are staffed by anaesthetists, nurses, medical assistants, orderlies and evacuation teams of railway workers. The medical equipment on board the train makes it possible to provide immediate assistance in the most critical cases while it is in motion and, most importantly, not to stop treatment during evacuation.

However, all medical wagons need to be supplied with consumables and medicines to provide fast and high-quality medical care. The equipment of medical wagons is identical to that of a real hospital. This makes it possible to provide emergency medical care on the move, so these wagons can transport seriously wounded soldiers who cannot be transported by other means of transport.

The fundraising is aimed at purchasing the necessary consumables for one month. As this need is acute and urgent, we plan to organise these fundraisers on a regular basis.
