Little Polina was born on June 6, 2023. The pregnancy was almost without complications, and the parents sincerely believed that everything would be fine. But already in the first month of the girl's life, it became clear that she had a long way to go.

During the examination, Polia was diagnosed with intraventricular hemorrhage and hydrocephalus. The girl underwent several complicated surgeries, including bypass surgery. Complications after the interventions caused meningitis and right-sided hemiparesis – partial paralysis of the arms and legs.

Now Polinka is already sitting up, trying to crawl, saying her first words, but she cannot walk on her own yet. The strong tone and weakness of her right side prevent her from moving. Doctors give her hope, but she needs rehabilitation in order not to lose precious time.
