Doctors fought for his life, immediately connected to the device, as he himself could not breathe. When he was lying there, it was very painful to watch all this, helpless, with tubes, the most difficult thing for loving parents in such a situation is the understanding that nothing can be helped…

It was difficult to survive, but there was a difficult task ahead: to make sure that Vadimchik could develop like a normal child. After discharge from the hospital, the parents began to take the boy to the clinic, do regular massages, physical therapy, then underwent rehabilitation in various centers, sanatoriums…

Now Vadim is in dire need of rehabilitation at the International Rehabilitation Clinic in Truskavets. Vadimchyk is waiting for the 20th course of rehabilitation. After treatment in Truskavets, Vadim's muscle tone decreases, he walks better holding one handle, sometimes it feels like now Vadimchyk will let go of his hand and run alone, without outside support. In 2020, Vadim underwent surgery on his legs, his knees did not fully extend. 2 months in casts, sleepless nights. Then recovery again, rehabilitation. Began to stand on their feet in a new way, to walk in a new way.

The family is very happy with the result, but in order for Vadim not to squat again, he needs rehabilitation every 3 months, a lot of work still needs to be done. But most importantly, there is faith and hope for improvement.
