I Dream of Getting Well to Help Others

The goal of the project was to raise money for the treatment of Valeria Tokareva. The girl is a patient of Okhmatdyt Hospital. Valeria has been sick for a long time and has a very complex defect in the development of the larynx. Scoliosis took such a form that the child suffered from severe pain. It is not possible to correct such a defect without surgery. The operation itself was to be performed on the child free of charge, but the mother had to purchase an individual spine stabilization plate on her own, since these materials are not purchased by the state. Mother is raising 2 children alone and has already collected 150 thousand hryvnias with the support of the community. The rest of the amount needed to be collected urgently, so she turned to us for help.

Thanks to the collected funds, the child received treatment. The operation was performed on July 1. After the operation, Valeria continues her rehabilitation and is under the supervision of doctors.
