Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the medical staff of Kyiv City Maternity Hospital No. 1 has been working tirelessly to bring new life into the world, operating under extraordinary circumstances.

While the expertise and dedication of our doctors and nurses are invaluable, they alone are not enough to ensure the safety of mothers and their newborns. Obstetric hemorrhages, which can occur suddenly and pose a serious threat to life, demand immediate intervention and specialized medication.

The use of "Octaplex" has become an integral part of our lifesaving efforts. This medication, when skillfully administered, can rapidly stop bleeding and minimize the risk of severe complications such as hemorrhagic shock or DIC syndrome. It is also used to prevent bleeding during childbirth in cases of clotting factor deficiency. Due to its unique properties, "Octaplex" activates the coagulation system, significantly reducing the risk to life.

Unfortunately, "Octaplex" falls under the category of expensive medications. In the name of motherhood and the bright futures of our little ones, we urge all those who care to join us in raising funds to purchase 4 vials of "Octaplex" for Kyiv City Maternity Hospital No. 1.

Let every baby enter the world healthy, and let their mothers feel safe and secure!
