Today, children try fresh fruit for the first time and are surprised that it actually tastes good. They run to the dining hall not because they have to, but because a warm and delicious meal awaits them there. We know: when a child is full, they can play, learn, and simply be a child.

At our Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation in the city of Kyiv, 12 children aged 2 to 17 live here full-time. These are children deprived of parental care who need not only a roof over their heads but also care, stability, and a sense of security. It is here that they undergo rehabilitation and learn to live again.

Every day, these 12 children receive complete hot meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack. As a result, the children have more energy, sleep better, and get sick less often. We already see this change. Their bodies are growing stronger to help them resist stress and illness. And also – there are smiles and laughter at the table. Sharing a meal in a cozy atmosphere shows them that the world can be kind and reliable.

Thanks to your support of our project, we will be able to:

• Purchase food. Fresh vegetables and fruits, meat, fish, grains, dairy products – everything needed for a balanced diet.

• Cover the salary of the person responsible for meal organization. This person plans the daily menu, controls the quality of products, and ensures that children receive tasty and healthy food.

• Pay for utilities. Lighting, heating, water – the essentials without which it is impossible to prepare food and warm the space.

A full plate for a child is more than just food. It is health, strength for play and learning, and a feeling of being cared for. It is a chance to grow and develop, despite everything they have been through.
