Sasha is a thirteen-year-old girl with a strong character, combining determination, courage and kindness. For more than two years, she has been learning to live with her illness – type 1 diabetes every day.
Alexandra loves spending time with her family – her parents and younger sister. Sasha has a special bond with her mother: they understand each other well and are a support for each other. Her mother also once, in her childhood, learned about the same diagnosis – diabetes.
Despite the illness, Sasha fills her life with joyful moments, favorite activities and a circle of good friends. The girl loves to play volleyball and often spends time on the court with her friends. They always support her and help her feel confident and happy. And when she wants comfort, Sasha's favorite cat – Becky – is always nearby.
Due to age-related hormonal changes, it becomes more difficult to control sugar levels, so constant monitoring is very important for the girl. It allows you to see your sugar level 24/7, which gives you a sense of security and helps you better control your condition. Thanks to the sensors, Sasha feels more protected. Life teaches the girl to be strong, responsible and not to give up. Even despite the difficulties, she finds joy in every day. We ask caring people to support Sasha and help her get the necessary constant monitoring. Together we can make her life safer!
