Mykhailo, born with a heart
This little boy was born prematurely and was in a very serious condition, which was complicated by a hemorrhage in the ventricles of the brain. No one made any predictions, no one knew whether the baby would survive. He was abandoned by his biological family almost immediately, and they didn't even have time to give him a name...
However, the boy wanted to live so badly, and there were good people nearby who could help him. So he was taken to OKHMATDYT, where he was operated on, a shunt was installed, and treatment began. Then a full-scale war broke out, and all the children without parents who were waiting for a decision on guardianship and adoption were taken abroad to safe places. The boy was too weak, so he stayed in the hospital and heard everything. Then he was transferred to the Boyarka Regional Children's Hospital, where he had to wait for his fate. As the intensity of hostilities in the Kyiv region decreased, life began to return to normal. The boy's data was entered into the city's database of children of the Service for Children, which helped him find a family and finally receive a name – Mykhailo.
A year has passed since then. Mykhailo moved to a new home, began learning new skills and recovering from his long hospitalization. This was followed by numerous tests that showed Mykhailo had miraculously survived (hydrocephalus had significantly damaged his brain, reducing the volume of brain matter), and treatment that allowed Misha to roll over, sit up, crawl and stand. The parents are now continuing this path and doing everything to keep their son healthy, but now they need our financial support, because Mykhailo has a new rehabilitation course ahead of him. Help this strong boy to fight!
