Sava joined a family in Kostyantynivka when he was very young, but immediately became one of their own. He grew up surrounded by love, bringing his parents new joy every day – until his mother noticed that her son's development differed from that of his peers. Examinations, consultations, and tests began, and one day the family heard the terrible diagnosis – cerebral palsy.

The first blow was painful, but his parents did not break down. They pulled themselves together and began a daily struggle: home physical therapy sessions, searching for specialists, and exhausting rehabilitation through tears and despair. And this work paid off – at 3.5 years old, Saveliy took his first steps. Uncertain, unsteady, but so long-awaited. The whole family was thrilled, especially his mother, for whom he is the only best in the world.

Speech proved to be more difficult: apart from the word "mama", the boy could hardly say anything, so the family began special speech therapy. But the war put the treatment on hold.

When Kostyantynivka was almost destroyed, the family moved to Cherkasy region. There, Sava walked to first grade on his own two feet. He works tirelessly, pushing himself every day and showing excellent results – as much as possible without speech.

Today, the family's greatest need is a rehabilitation course that will help their son speak. Without speech, it is extremely difficult for a child to learn and communicate.
